Venue details

Adding venue information to your campaign.

Venue details are optional fields that help patrons know where the event will take place.

Available fields

Venue name — the name of the venue or location.
Venue address — the street address. Displayed on the public event page to help patrons find the venue.
Venue capacity — the maximum number of attendees. This limits how many tickets can be promised per performance.
Venue URL — a link to the venue's website (optional).

When to add venue details

Add venue details if you've already secured a location. If the venue is still to be determined, you can leave these fields blank and update them later (while the campaign is still in draft status).

Capacity

If you set a venue capacity, the system will prevent patrons from promising more tickets than the venue can hold. The remaining capacity is shown on the promise form.

Info

Venue capacity applies per performance. If your capacity is 100 and you have two performances, up to 100 promises can be collected for each date.
